Responsibilities:

  • Continues a plan of care in accordance with the Physical Therapy evaluation
  • Performs effective and efficient follow up visits for clients
  • Observe and report the social/emotional factors relating to the client’s condition/illness
  • Communicate and educate the client, client’s family and significant others regarding symptoms, treatment options, and resources
  • Serve as a resource person to the client, client’s family and significant other

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
  • Ability to travel as needed to perform job. Must have reliable transportation
  • Maintain credentialing and training requirements
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client, employee and company proprietary information
  • Ability to relate professionally and work cooperatively with clients, families, and other staff members
